Thanks to the cooperation between Magneti Marelli and Denso, the customers of Magneti Marelli had a chance to learn the secrets of Formula 1 in August this year. The opportunity for this came during a trip that was the main prize in the promotion campaign of Denso spark plugs, run by Magneti Marelli Aftermarket Ltd.

During several days of the tour, 20 customers of Magneti Marelli Aftermarket had the opportunity to visit a Formula 1 factory belonging to the Toyota and located in Cologne, to learn the secrets of the production of individual components the car, and to take a view of the engine testing rooms and aerodynamic tunnel halls. Another highlight was having fun on Michael Schumacher's carting track at "Kart & Event Center" in Kerpen combined with a race for the Magneti Marelli and Denso Cup.

However, the biggest highlight of the trip was an all-day stay at Spa in Belgium, taking part in Formula 1 training right at the eve of the F1 Grand Prix of Belgium. The Customers had the opportunity to be in Toyota's pit stop, listen to the exchange of information between the drivers and maintenance crew, observe the work on a car, explore the area of the pit lane and peep at all the cars participating in the training. Their stay on the track was brightened up by additional attractions, including the F1 simulator and gift shops, as well as the fine food and friendly service.
