Magneti Marelli Checkstar at the Rallylegend 2013

This year Rallylegend promises to be very interesting. Thanks to the initiative of Magneti Marelli Checkstar, from 10th to 13th October 2013, on the streets of San Marino, once again we will see the legendary duel that left its mark on the history of racing in the late 80s and 90s. As in the old days Miki Biasion encounters Juha Kankkunen.
To the great delight of fans, two great masters come back after more than 20 years to sit at the wheels of two Delta Integrale Evoluzione, made available to them by Magneti Marelli Checkstar rally team so as to provide a breathtaking race and a unique spectacle.
Miki Biasion, one of the founders of Rallylegend, along with two patrons Vito Piarulli and Paolo Vallim, has always been involved in the race, adding splendour to it as a special guest. This year, strengthened in the last adventure of the Dakar Rally, in which he drove the Iveco truck and New Zealand Rally in Otago, where he drove Porsche 911, Miki is in a great shape and he is back in the game at the wheel of Lancia Delta Evoluzione. His co-driver is Carlo Cassina, who along with Biasion won the famous Rally of Portugal in 1988.
Juha Kankkunen, even though he was high in the qualification and had to withdraw from the fight, is very attached to Legend race, in which he started in 2011, during which on the streets of San Marino, every year, thousands of fans cheers for him.
Another hero of a Checkstar, and also the most appropriate outsider to take the big challenges, is Gustavo Trelles, who at the wheel of his Toyota Celia triumphed in last year's Rallylegend. The team will not miss also Luca Pedersoli who after a long break due to work responsibilities decided to return just to Legend race, in which he earned honours in the class of the WRC in 2011.
