New Magneti Marelli factory in India.
- 28.10.2015The production plant is managed by a Joint Venture Magneti Marelli Powertrain India Private Ltd. (on the market since 2007 with Magneti Marelli, Maruti Suzuki and Suzuki). The production plant has an area of 7,500 square meters and will employ 115 employees. Its production capacity is estimated at the level of 280.000 sets of automatized gears. Magneti Marelli intends to address the growing popularity of Indian AMT gearboxes in this way, which are now used for popular models like Maruti Celerio and Alto and Tata Nano and Zest.
